The Classic model is the original Off Road Camper Trailer with the ease of use and sizing that suits the majority of people. It's front storage box is perfect for those who travel efficiently with no more than an Awning Roof.
The Kimberley Kamper Classic is also designed to take a heavier load with the optional boat loader and outboard mount. It also has over-ride disc brakes that are low maintenance and the suspension uses swing arms with coil springs and shock absorbers that pivot from the drawbar 150mm deep chassis. The camper actually sits on top of this assembly which explains why glass and other fragile items can travel 5000kms in a Kimberley Kamper kitchen without breakage. The swing arms are manufactured by Kimberley in 6 different configurations so that the tracking distance between the tyres once the matching hubs are fitted is very close to the vehicle. The resulting smooth wheel tracking reduces fuel consumption when travelling over sand or through wet conditions. The wheel hub setting and wheel studs can also be matched to most vehicles for inter-changeability.
The 2007 Model is now even lighter than the 2006 with the NEW Alluminium Alloy Front Frame and alloy internal construction. Tthe Selecta-Swing-Away range of rear carriers gives you the flexibility of adding outboard carriers, bikes or additional water in the rear of the camper.
Most options can be added at a future date that minimizes initial investment. All the canvas options can be purchased with this model.
