SPECIFICATIONS - ALL ROOFTOP TENTS
| Canvas. A high quality 13 oz ripstop Polyamide milspec canvas. Designed initially for the South African Defence force, this fabric is totally waterproof, will not 'wick', is mould resistant and will not rot. |
| Flysheet. All tents come with an integral nylon flysheet which is raised above the tent on aluminium bows. Due to the insulating cushion of air between the tent and the flysheet, the tents remain a lot cooler in the hot sun, and condensation - especially during those very cold nights - is all but eliminated. |
| The base of each tent is constructed from a unique lightweight 'alu-skin' material. This is a wooden frame clad in aluminium and filled with polystyrene foam. This base offers ultimate insulation. The base plates of the tents are equipped with a tongue and groove to provide extra strength and rigidity. |
| Window awnings. These large awnings one on each side provide protection from sunlight as well as protection from adverse weather. The awnings can remain open at all times, with adjustable insect netting and separate window flaps located inside the tent, allowing for instant climate control. |
| Openings. At each end of the tent there is a large access opening. This is shaded by the nylon fly awning. Both openings also have complete insect net protection and a zipped canvas flap. |
| Mattress. The tents come complete with a 65mm high density foam mattress. |
| Ladder.A telescopic anodised aluminium ladder. This is also used as the lever to open the tent. |
| Cover. The tent is enclosed with a heavy duty PVC cover operated with a YKK zip. Spring steel stays to tension the flysheet and window awnings are easy to insert into grommets in the base of the tent. |
| Four internal storage pockets. |
| Zips. Life time guaranteed YKK zips are used throughout. |
| Bungee system. Each tent comes equipped with an internal bungee system to facilitate the closing of the tent. |
| Fitting to the vehicle. A universal mounting system is standard on all models. This facilitates the mounting of the tent to your roof bars or roof rack and also allows for the tent to be opened to the rear, side, or in some cases even to the front of the vehicle. |

Additional canvas section extends past the base of the tent ensuring that the ladder is under cover whether the annexe is fitted or not. |
Zip on annexe which is fully closed and includes a built-in ground sheet. |
The ladder is able to be suspended underneath the base of the tent providing optimum annexe space. |
The annexe which is stored separately in a nylon stuff bag, provides complete protection from the elements as well as complete insect protection. With the annexe erected there is total privacy when climbing into or out of the Tourer Rooftop Tent. |
